Life has been pretty much a blur the past few weeks. Mainly, I have started a new job (with Garmin), I've been out of town, we're looking for a new (used) car, Christina has been busy preparing for her trip to Africa, she also continues to be very busy with music and drama at church, Abby has grown 3 feet (not really), and Gracie got yet another gray whisker. Needless to say we have been swamped.

Today Abby advanced to a new stage in child development...potty training. And unfortunately, I as a parent reached (or at least became aware of) a new low. Abby left today w/ Grandma Marian for Baltimore. She did great throughout the plane trip except for when they put her Dora the Explorer bag and shoes on the security belt. She yelled out, "Hey, that's mine!" at the top of her lungs. Everyone knew those were hers! She is officially a cross-country traveller w/out Mommy & Daddy. She seemed to have no fears and no tears about leaving us:). Live

On the last evening we were in town, we went to Grant's Farm. It was a great time and they had plenty of stuff for Abby (letter to Santa, reindeer, clydesdales, etc.). The weather was awesome too...mid to high 60's the whole time we were there!
